Corrections Policy
The Next Wave News is committed to accuracy. When we make errors — factual, typographical, or contextual — we correct them promptly, transparently, and without attempting to obscure the original mistake.
How We Handle Corrections
When a significant factual error is identified in a published article, we correct the article and append a correction note at the bottom of the piece clearly stating what was changed and why. For minor typographical or grammatical errors that do not affect the accuracy of information conveyed, we may correct these without a formal notice.
We do not quietly delete or overwrite errors without acknowledgment. The correction note will remain as part of the article’s permanent record.
Requesting a Correction
If you believe we have published inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information, please contact us at eejinjus01@gmail.com with the subject line “Correction Request.” Please include:
- The title and URL of the article in question
- A description of the error you believe was made
- Supporting evidence or documentation where available
We investigate all credible requests thoroughly before making a decision and aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
Updates vs. Corrections
When an article is updated to add new information that has become available after publication — rather than to correct an error — we append an update note at the bottom of the article noting the date and nature of the update. Updates and corrections are clearly distinguished from one another.
Editorial vs. Opinion Disputes
Our corrections process applies to factual errors. We do not issue corrections for matters of editorial opinion or analytical interpretation where reasonable people may disagree. However, we take seriously all feedback about fairness and framing and will consider whether editorial follow-up is warranted.
